About Me

I took my first weight training class in 7th grade. My ultimate goal was to get bigger and stronger for our prestigious high school football program. Almost 30 years later and fitness is still a key component of my life and my identity! Like most kids, I grew up playing all the sports my school had to offer. Once I started college, I realized how much I missed strength training as well as the daily routine and health benefits associated with it.

I have worked in IT since graduating college and quickly realized the negative effects that a desk job can have on your body. I believe staying active and being posture aware have helped me prevent many kinetic issues that so many people face today. When the stand-up desk trend began more than ten years ago, it didn't take much to convince me that this was a far better option for my long-term health. That same trend continues today!

Becoming a certified trainer has been a personal goal of mine for many years. I had helped many friends and family design workout programs or offer advice in areas that I was knowledgeable in. I loved learning everything I could about fitness and nutrition to help improve my quality of life.

Finally in the summer of 2023, I took the leap and signed up for an Elite Trainer Package offered through ISSA. The package offered certifications in everything that I was interested in such as: personal training, online training, nutrition, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).

I love helping people with the knowledge I've attained over the years, whether their goal is to lose weight, build muscle, or just tone up. It's a great feeling to help someone reach their goals and live a happier, healthy life.

I am a proud father of three amazing children. I have coached youth baseball, softball and football for over 10 years. When not at work or a kid's sporting event, I enjoy hunting, sports, biking, going to concerts, and pretty much anything involving being outdoors!
